2008 Yaris Sedan Airbag Light DTC Code 55

After learning how to check the DTC using the guide by CTScott, the vehicle indicated code "55". I took a look at the repair manual and it seems to indicate several generic faults with the driver's curtain bag?

I'm just curious if anyone has dealt with this issue, I'm starting to think it could be the SRS module/sensor as the light has also been intermittent although recently it has stayed on.

Yes, the clockspring has been replaced.

Update: light continues to be intermittent I disassembled the console to get the part number for the center airbag module and just unplugged and replugged the large connector going to the box. Probably not going to fix it, but I figured it was worth a shot.
