I told my neighbor about this sale this morning, and he just knocked on the door to tell me he bought a wheel and tyre package for under $200.
He bought the 185/60/15 Cooper CS3 tyres I suggested and these wheels: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findWheelDetail.do?bp=4-100&fl=&yr=2014&pc=75901&counter=1&wd=15&rw=6.5&vid=026488
Looks like it cost him $195.40 to his door.
I think one of our yarisworld members has these wheels on his car.

This is CincyC6's car.
These are the same wheels my neighbor just bought for his Yaris on Monday... and he received them today! He hasn't installed the wheel/tyre package yet, but I can see they'll look really nice! His Yaris is the same colour, but a two door model.

I keep thinking about it. What's holding me back is having to make space in my already limited space garage, compounded by the fact that my tires are nearly new. With the amount I drive, the new tires will be sitting in said garage for several years. I plan to start lurking their website as soon as I start to get anywhere near needing new tires in hope of another sale like this popping up.
On a related note, I made a post about this sale on Wheelwell and credited you. Hoping as many people as possible take advantage of these great deals.

^^^ Understood.
BTW: I change my tyres often, running them to about 1/2 worn. Then I clean them up and post them on craigslist. I just sold my used Kumho Ecsta 4X's for $120. I'm happy considering I only paid $138.44 for new Kumho Ecsta 4XII's during the previous sale.
Well, I have no connection whatsoever with discounttiredirect. I just have this weird fascination with wheels and tyres... and I like everyone to get amazing deals when they're available.

Sadly I won't have the funds not the absolute need to buy new rubber yet. If a sale like this comes available late winter/ early spring next year I'll be all over it

I'm sorry for this noob question but before I hit purchase on this great deal I wanted to make sure.
My wife's 2013 has the standard 175/65-15 currently.Going up to the the 185/60-15 will have little effect on the car?
Thanks in advance!

She drives quite alot for work and i want to get her something good .
Im just curious how much ill get hit in install charges.currently at least 2 rims are stuck on and I have a TPMS light on for one of the wheels.I tried getting the rims off myself and had no luck.Ive never had a car do that before.

I think the CS3's are currently out of stock.
But, the CS5's are in stock, and offer an even better 780AA (80,000 mile) tread wear rating. They're great tyres, and they'll cost you $74.04 delivered (after all rebates).

Any tyre shop should be familiar with that issue and will have no problem getting those wheels off.
I pay a total of $40 for installation and balance at a local American Tire Depot.
BTW: At the bottom of DTD's main page, you can click on "Installers" and look for your State and find a bunch of installers in your area.

Funny story.
Applied for the credit card for the bonus but they never gave me the account number to use.I call the bank issuing the credit card and they tell me they cant give me the account over the phone and ill have to wait till my card arrives in the mail or call the store and conference call them and the bank. They sure are making it hard to buy from.Ill have to try tomorrow

^^^ Okay. Same thing happened to me. PITA, I know. But, that's no problem.
Yes, you will have to call directly to use your card the first time (before you receive it in the mail). That's what I had to do, and the agent took care of everything.
I usually deal with Frank @ X 51890. Of course, you can talk to anyone you like.

Sadly, they were sold out of the cooper CS5 when i called.
The salesman(wyatt) Got me Hankook Optimo H727 at $70 each.
I lost one rebate, but 4 100k mile tires for $145 is not bad at all.Closest thing local I found was over $400 a set.
I just hope the tires ride well.Anyone have experience with these?

Too bad! But, the Hankook Optimo H727 is a good tyre that gets good reviews.
I've purchased tyres from Wyatt several times, and he was very helpful. Looks like he gave you an additional discount over the internet price. That's good news.

Purchased the cooper cs5 on the eBay store. Same rebates and price but for us Californians no environmental fee, disposal fee or tax. Shipped straight to my door. Now just need the right rims to lose the broken hub caps. Did the same for my frontier on Black Friday.

That's great!
DTD doesn't have a California warehouse, so whether you buy from their online website, call them directly, or buy from their ebay store, we save the fees and taxes!
BTW, are you able to pay with the DT credit card when you buy from their ebay store? That's a $60 rebate for each set of tyres or wheels!

Have you ever bought the certificates they offer?
A couple of years ago, I bought the certificates for one set of tyres. Shortly afterward, I had a flat. When I called the DTD salesman, he immediately sent me a new tyre.
But, I haven't purchased the certificates for my last 2 sets of tyres. I guess I'm hoping I don't have any issues.
I think you have some time after the sale to add the certificates if you decide to get them.
