Fuel / Temp / Mileage Gauge - Special LED Readings?

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but the gauge that displays the time, mileage, fuel, and temperature (basically the right side of your dash display) has certain LED readings for such as "MPG" "L/100KM", and so on.

These aren't visible unless you view the dash from certain angles, revealing the particular character displays that are present. However these characters are never lit up by the LEDs.

I'm just wondering if there are any features that could be displayed here, as the dash gauge in this area seems equipped to show read outs of your fuel mileage and other items.

you are coprrect, i beleive in another thread, someone mentioned the UK yarii get theses reading on the display. probably just a simple program re-write to the ecm

I woudn't count hybrid out =D. Rumors going arond about the honda fit getting a hybrid model under like $18k. Since the yaris is in the same class, and has stuff like electric stearing, hopfully they'll do it. The Fit is supposed to be above prius and civic hybrids in milage. Ahh time will tell tho.

Funny I asked about the same thing 'bout 5,6 months ago. Yeah, I remember some say it's probably for feature that you can use in europe or austrlia and such.
