Will a bigger rim cause my rpm to be a little lower at freeway speeds???

It depends on the diameter of the tyre you install.

In theory, yes...
If it's a massive change it might have an adverse effect, depending on how your transmission is set up.
(This is just in theory, by my small amount of knowledge in how gears work together and such)

It sounds like you may be confusing wheels (rims) with tyres.

no. it will not effect the RPM. it changes the speed reading on the speedometer. you are driving slower but think you are going faster

Yikes! Changes in tyre diameter, not rim diameter, do indeed affect the car’s cruise rpm... and its acceleration.

Sorry, I figured bigger rims = bigger tires, and was working with that logic.
