Hey all, I'm new here. I mainly created this profile to ask my first question, but I have some follow-up questions and am sure I'll have more in the future.

I have a 2012 Yaris 4-door sedan which I purchased CPO in the fall of 2013. Thankfully, I have only ever needed small parts (a cabin air filter, windshield wipers, and tires), and now I need a new battery. But every time I go to look up my car on a parts store website or even sites like Edmund's, they seem to think there is no such think as a 2012 Yaris Sedan, they only have Hatchback options listed. Edmunds specifically says they stopped making the sedan with the 2012 models... but I have one. So, how is that possible?

Also, I need a battery now and am looking at the Advance Auto Parts website and it's asking if I have a L, LE, or SE. I have no idea what those mean, what the differences are, let alone which one I have. And does it matter for a battery?:iono:

2012 Yaris sedan was fleet sales only. To save confusion, ask for parts for a 2011.

Welcome! The 10 digit of the VIN will tell you the manufacture year. They can also check your VIN at your local toyota and tell you all the info you need

Battery, you can just get a group 35.

Else, all parts for sedans can be choosen in the 2007-2011 models.

There are no differences for the cabin filters be it a sedan or hatchback.
