I remember someone posting on here in the past about finding poly engine mount for a VW that fits in the yaris Dogbone mount.
I cannot find the thread any more. If anyone has some info regarding this or the link to the thread please post it up. Essentially you press out the oem rubber and insert the poly one that is meant for a VW

It was a specific one, not sure if it was used as a larger motor mount or as a vw doggone. The thread had the part number and everything but I can't pull it up on searches.
The link you postedisted is just a general search so still leaves me with more Q's than A's unfortunately

No, it was red poly. It was also much bigger in size as It has to replace the big rubber bushing in the yaris doggone. It does however have the metal sleeve in it

edit:
why dont you just spend more money and order the VITZ TRD engine mounts from japan?

That link looks closer to it but still looks too narrow.
Do you have the link for the trd mount, I can never find it anywhere online and I want a stiffer mount whereas the trd is a hardened rubber iirc

You weren't confusing the engine mounts with these bump stops were you? I see that you posted in the thread:

Beatrush/Laile makes a nice dogbone mount.

Thanks a ton. I must have gotten then threads mixed up but realistically I'll just order the beatrish mount, seems less work in the end

Ordered that mount. Heck yes. That should fix the most annoying thing about my 2016... I hate how the engine rocks back and forth when you try to shift faster than you would a school bus.

No worries guys, glad I could help, I'm planning to order one myself. They're going to be baffled with all the submitted orders for the Yaris lol.

The choice to being different is an expensive one.

it says there is cure time involved. i think they are using the Energy Suspension fill-a-mount kit, maybe?
i was going to just make my own too...

This is also something I want, I hate that whu-whu-whu feeling when I shift hard!

Well, while expensive, that beatrush mount thing was worth every damn penny. It definitely increases NVH which I don't care about but it makes it much much nicer to shift. Now, it still will "shake" or whatever if you don't give the engine some time to spin down between shifts but it's nowhere near as bad as it was. I think with a lightweight crank pulley (can't afford nor want to pull the trans off to replace the flywheel on a 1800 mile car) then it will be pretty much perfect.

The lightweight flywheel makes a big difference with both having to wait for the engine to slow down between shifts. I can only speak for that in the 2zr but I'd imagine it similar in the 1nz.
I'll be purchasing the beatrish mount soon as well, I'd rather have a proper mount in there. My poly filled ones have cracked due to the torque on them and not waiting long enough for them to cure
