That rear independant suspension though.

I thought they used the top stock shock mount, but then I realized that is too low to be where factory is. I'd like to see where they mount the front of the subframe. The torsion beam mounts are not used as seen in the picture, they're welded up. I wish there was another angle of the rear suspension, it's so nice to look at.

Anywho, I thought that was the most interesting part of the car.

A 2zz-ge... interesting. I wonder what had to be fought to fit that engine into the Yaris since it's pretty darn wide.

I don't think the 2zz is a problem to fit, if anything the transaxle/transfer case would be more a pita.

It's wide due to the suspension not being able to fit under the original body work. ;)

Oh, I meant the engine fitting into the engine bay because the 2zz engine is physically large, not the yaris being too wide to accept it.

But you're right, it might have been the 6 speed manual transmission that caused more issues.

I think you misunderstood me lol.

And they're most likely using a sequential.

2zz fits on MK3 mk2 and mk1 its all about shoehorning.

Yeah I just remember having to notch out the framerail to get it to fit and I wasn't too keen on that idea.
