Turn signal won't shut off on its own

My right turn signal won't self cancel. Can I fix this myself? Should I replace the whole unit? Any instructions posted anywhere?

I would check to see if there is a flasher on this car. It could be the problem sometimes. Replacing the switch requires you to mess around with the steering wheel. Is this a constant problem or intermittent?
