Looking for an alternator from a 2009+ or newer. I understand the 06-08 have a defective voltage regulator.

Is your current alternator showing signs of voltage regulator failing? Flickering or solid battery light, no DRLs?

Yes flickering and solid battery light occasionally more so after a rainfall. Read a few threads that it may be related to the regulator. I have tested the alternator with a multimeter it appears to be charging OK. Local salvage yard only has a 07 called a few places that rebuild but they can't confirm the part number until I actually show up. I believe the faulty part number ends in 21 150 and the newer part is 21151

Not sure which wreckers you tried. But try standard's they also have a yard in NY state and they can bring it over if one is there. If not try Dom's, Kenny u pull or cookstown, but you'll need tools to remove it your self.

Thanks I did source a 2014 from Standard and installed it. Seems to be working well so far.
