Im looking at replacing my brake drums and shoes (in the rear, of course)
Should I go full factory parts from the dealer? Or can I get decent aftermarket OEM parts from AutoZone?
Thanks!

After market should suffice, there are plenty of decent quality aftermarket brake options out there for the yaris. Rock auto has a hand full.
You have a '14 yaris, there is no way you should be needing replacement of your shoes/drums already. Have you inspected them and determined they need replacement?

You’re right. They don’t “need” it. I just rotated my wheels yesterday and looked at them. My issue is that they squeak like a motherf***er and I can’t get them to shut up. I’ve tried backing off the parking brake, cleaning out brake dust, mild resurfacing using sandpaper by hand, anti-squeak spray stuff, nothing works. I haven’t had them professionally machined and resurfaced but I’ve seen how inexpensive drums and pads are so I might as well replace the whole damn thing.
I hate drums. #ShouldHaveBoughtTheSE

I can't speak directly about what is causing your squeak but I've always had luck by applying a brake specific grease to the friction points on the drums and have yet to have a squeaking issue with my yaris, vibe or retired Echo.
Check the repair manual to ensure you are applying it to the proper areas

I'm sure, like most things, it's debatable, but I've gotten the impression from the majority of folks I've talked to about it (on and off the forum) that on a car as small/light as the Yaris, rear discs are of no significant benefit.
My car is 10 years old, north of 70k miles, I do not granny drive it and I'm on the original, factory brakes. They've never made a sound. Having said that, when it's time to replace, I would also consider using aftermarket parts because it seems like there's some better quality aftermarket stuff out there for the price of OEM.

The wheel above and the rear discs sure do look great and I'm sure work well. I am very happy with my 2015 ( 66,000 KM ) Yaris rear brakes with the shoes. The car stops quick, no rear brake noise. The only problem I had was the paint on the drums flaking and a little rust after winter. I painted them up nice Rust-oleum high heat black. I expect over many many miles drums will be cheaper to operate. Looking at the wear on my shoes I expect will go well over 100,000KM .When time comes to change I will use OE. As that's what would have gotten me that far . cheers
