Hi all, has anyone purchased the front and rear mud flaps for the 2013 Yaris and has them on the car so i can get an idea of the look. Also has anyone done this and painted them to match the body colour. I recently saw a Auris with painted Mud flaps from the rear and it looked quite good actually. Please help :help:

I've got OEM front and rear mud flaps on my 2014.

Have you ever thought about painting them white to match the body?

Not a fan of paint-to-match mud flaps. Don't really care for the look.

I'm afraid they'd look like this:

I’m not a fan of painted flaps either. I had a set of Rally Armor’s on my Subaru and they were awesome. I’m thinking of throwing a set on my Yaris soon. I’m getting tired of cleaning tar sprayed on the side of my doors.

Exactly my point, recently we've had a lot of mud on the road here and it flicks up tremendously on the front doors.

This is the current look of my car, dome some small changes but mainly to the inside with sound proofing. But the mud flaps are the next idea. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171105/478581df85c2ec943126dbaf5a012171.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171105/62d0821f1f34ae5cf0dc53cfcb1b5df6.jpg

Nice car!

I've never seen the back door window frames blacked out like that. Interesting. I like the way it "hides" the once trendy A-shaped C pillar.

Seems the lower back bumper also has black application I haven't seen before.

I'd say go with the universal rally armour they were really easy to install

They protect well and extend father then the oemhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171105/1551113bd0ed3c4391411145d93d3f00.jpg

Seems the lower back bumper also has black application I haven't seen before. The window frame blacking was an idea I had when I first got the car, I wanted to make the black aspect of the windows look longer and with all the measurements thay design came out right, took time to get the curves right but I managed to print the vinyl ( close as possible shade to oem) and and then stick it on, I did the same with the lower part of the bumper, gives it a more road hugging look. Then to match the slight sunburn of the vinyl I compound polished it and it looks identical now.

My little touch on a great small car.

I added the OEM mudflaps to my car; it didn't come with them. You can see them pretty well in the pics I have uploaded to my garage section.

I enjoy them matching the car based on the car being black, but I don't think I'd paint them to match if my car wasn't black. I don't think they'd look as bad as the ones in the pic of the Nissa kimona posted above because the Yaris flaps aren't that big, they're pretty small, but I'm not sure it would look all that great. I think I'd opt for a bigger, aftermarket flap before painting the OEM's.
