Anyone know if you can apply for their credit card with a Canadian address?

I'm probably going to ditch my factory Bridgestone tires at 40K & go with some Yokohama YK740 GTX or something similar. 11K to go. I always did like the Yokohama brand, going way back to my Honda CRX-Si days.

I'm looking to buy some Bfgoorich g force sport comp 2's 195-55-15 but I'm confused about the rebates. On the rebate page it shows when buying "better" rated tires you get a $75 rabate as well as a $60 rebate for buying a set of 4 tires and an additional $60 when you use their credit card which I don't have.

However when i view the tires it only states $75 "better" tire rebate and $60 if you use their credit card. Can someone confirm how/if I also get the $60 rebate for buying 4 tires? I'll pull the trigger if I get the $160 in rebates but not if I only get the $75 rebate. I cannot apply for their credit card as I'm in Canada

Rebates Page clearly states the following:

$75 Visa Prepaid Card on 4 select Better rated tires - use offer code DTD0105

Save Even More by using your Discount Tire Credit Card to get an additional $60 savings by mail on the above offer!

$60 Visa Prepaid Card on any set of 4 Tires - use offer code DTD0106

$60 Visa Prepaid Card on any set of 4 Wheels - use offer code DTD0106

I never order online. I always call and order directly from a salesman who reviews all the rebates and discounts. Sometimes, I get an even better deal.

^thanks, I saw the rebates you posted but when I viewed that specific tire it only showed 2 of the 3 available rebates.

I'll call later today, good idea

Just called DTD and no there is no $60 rebate for 4 tires, that apparently is the credit card discount code.

So if you don't have their credit card (which I am not eligible for as a Canadian) the sale isn't that great, only the one rebate on 4 tires if you don't use their c/c.

Their website is very misleading and sketchy with how they present that info.

I would disagree and have to say the DTD website is very clear about available discounts and rebates.

BTW, I can't find the additional $60 tyre rebate that you mention. As far as I can discern, there are only 2 not 3 rebates posted for that tyre.

These are the only discounts/rebates I can see indicated on the DTD website:

$75 Visa Prepaid Card on 4 select Better rated tires - use offer code DTD0105

Save Even More by using your Discount Tire Credit Card to get an additional $60 savings by mail on the above offer!

$60 Visa Prepaid Card on any set of 4 Tires - use offer code DTD0106

This is the issue. There is only two rebates - one being the credit card one. In the quote above that you posted it appears there are three.

The promo code for the credit card rebate is written below a hashed line completely separate from the mention of the credit card deal making it appear to be a separate rebate when you purchase 4 Tires.

Your last post states there are clearly only 2 rebates (which is true) but your former post appears to show there are 3

^^^ I can't understand your confusion. Am I missing something here?

Yes, there is indeed a 3rd rebate... and it clearly says "wheels" not tires.

1. $75 Visa Prepaid Card on 4 select Better rated tires - use offer code DTD0105

Save Even More by using your Discount Tire Credit Card to get an additional $60 savings by mail on the above offer!
2. $60 Visa Prepaid Card on any set of 4 Tires - use offer code DTD0106
3. $60 Visa Prepaid Card on any set of 4 Wheels - use offer code DTD0106

I see what you're saying now. I read your post as the "Save even more" as a separate part than the two below it with the promo codes.

I'll be waiting until the presidents day sale to save up before I buy new rubber

Yup, DTD has several huge sales each year... and it's got to be cheaper than prices in Canada... which generally are outrageous!

tmontague

Oh they definitely are, as anything related to cars seem to be up here.

The cheapest I could find the tires up here are $600 all in. All in if I buy them across the pond should be no more than $450 all in

^^^ Unfortunately, a lot of great looking wheels, including many classic JDM and old school designs have been discontinued. And they've been replaced by trendy designs that appeal to tasteless Americans. Ugh.
