I looked at both fuse boxes under the hood and didnt see anything I thought was related to the lighter/power outlet, and googling has resulted in foreign owners and fusebox locations my USDM car doesnt have. There HAS to be a fuse to check, and the detailed fuse diagram I found online seems to indicate the charger is integrated into the instrument cluster, but all that works still. Either I am not aware of the corresponding fuse, or there is a mechanical failure (it conked out in the middle of a trip, I use a dash cam, if that helps).

There is another fuse panel under the passenger side dashboard. Fuse number 15 in the panel is labelled "CIG". It is listed as providing power to "power outlet, cigarette lighter", and is rated at 15 amps.

That will probably be under the driver's side in the U.S. Kevin. I don't think there's any trim to remove like RHD cars. It's just a matter of standing on your head and removing the fusebox cover!
