I got a pair of switch backs from super bright LEDs never had them before.

From what I can see online is people would plug them in and they would get the white and just have it turn amber.

Is there a way to get these to work with a new flasher relay,

Don't want to be splicing as this is a lease

Or if someone could let me know where the flasher unit is located

I cannot seemed to find it, do I need to take the lower dash off?

I have no idea what switchback turn signals are, or why I would want them, but to answer your question there is no flasher relay on the 3rd gen Yaris. The turn signals are driven directly from the instrument cluster.

Dang so I'm going to need inline resistors.

Switch backs allow you to have your turn signals as white DRLs and when you turn it will blink orange

I don't remember the 3rd gen's bulb layout, but are the turn signals dual filament bulb types?

I have switchbacks in Snow White (will be replacing them with supposedly even better bulbs when they arrive).

On the parking mode, they provide almost as much lighting as the OEM fog lights:

Well now I know what switchbacks are. In fact I did know what they are but didn't know that that was what they were called.
