Dome Light

Happy New Year All. I want to install additional dome light. Is there a way I can piggy back the connection from the existing dome light or should I do a separate run ?
I have a 2015 Yaris and the dome light fades in and out which I really like.

What do you think is the best way to do this. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one... unless your an ET from Uranus nyuk nyuk nyuk

I put these stick on lights in my 2014 and attached them to the d pillars in the car but sadly they lasted about 2 months before the LEDs in them failed...

They were wired to the front dome light circuit. Maybe someday I'll try again but it's a pain in the ass to drop the headliner down a bit to work on stuff

Yes the headliner is a PITA to snake wire through. I was reluctant to pull the unit out as I don't know how it is mounted. I don't want to brake anything. I was thinking of using velcro to mount to to the headliner.
