The Event: The First Ever Florida Yaris Meet!!!
The Day: June 23rd, 2007
The Time: 11am until X:XX (Whenever we feel!)
The Place: Festival Bay Mall, Orlandohttp://www.shopfestevalbaymall.com

Alrighty, Sinse nobody wanted to hit some initiative, I did...
This would be the first planned Yaris meet of its kind in Florida. I am leaving this open to anyone, even if you dont own a Yaris...if you just want to support your love of the small car we have all known to love. All are welcome: Echo's, Yaris', Vitz's, Tercel's, Paseo's, Corolla's...the more the better.
Now with this said it will be on June 23rd, which is roughly a month away, if there are decrepancies we can change the date to something that would suit EVERYBODY.
I thought that we could do this at Fesival Bay, outside the entrance for Bass Pro Shops, they have a huge parking lot that consists of about 3 lots, spanning quite a ways. I dont think they will mind if we take up some space.
Not to mention that the mall has pretty much something for everybody, food shopping, even a skatepark, dont forget Ron Jons Surf Shop! not to mention its about 2 minutes from just about anything on International Drive, so be touristy and have fun in the area after hanging out with your favorite Yaris Buds.
I am not setting up anything special, no tents or such... so it pretty much is a bring your own boos/drinks/food. I do believe that we should try and setup an area for those of us who have glammed up their cars and would like to showoff a bit. Just a day where you can sit back, look at some nice cars and meet some people.
I really hope we can setup something where everyone would like to keep coming back over and over again. I will see if I can get my local decal shop to make a batch of window stickers for a Florida Yaris Owners Club logo. And see if I can get YarisWorld.com stickers made as well.
