Climate control and stereo lights not lighting up

A while back I changed my 2015 Yaris le (North American) speedometer for another one with an rpm guage , from a European Yaris since literally nobody sells it for the north American version. Everything on it works perfectly but oddly enough my xlinaye control lights and stereo do not light up anymore, when I hook up my old speedometer they work so I know the lights are fine. Any way to get them to light up again? My interior feels so dark now . Any help is appreciated!
