swapped out the MI springs for stockers this weekend. Also put the rear axle back into the stock holes. Good thing I bought new bolts...the nuts in the "rough service" location popped their spot welds and began spinning inside the chassis upon loosening the bolts.

Didn't take many pictures...but its now back to truck status. Only been 6.5 years riding "low". Car went back up just over 2" front and rear...which is more then the drop the MI springs were rated for. I figured they sagged over time and that was a contributing factor to my shit ride quality lately. Stock springs on Blues (with front and rear UR bars) still rides tight borderline rough, but NOT as crashy as before. It will do until I get some standard dampers again.

Why’d you go back to stock?

I have ridden on my Tokico Blues + Tanabe DF210s since 2008. The Tokico blues gave out mid last year, 2017, and replaced them with OE KYBs. The ride is much smoother now, I'm much older with children and considering going back to stock. Who cares about the height and moon rover look -- I just need the practicality and comfort for my kids when I drop off and take them to school!

I am probably going to stock style dampers soon. As much i hate riding high...its better overall.

My tercel on fortune auto coilovers rides better

That's weird. It's been 5-6 years since I'm on MI springs and stock dampers. My ride is very smooth and has been great driving my kids around.

Must be the age of the product.. my Tanabes gave out mid last year from 2008 and replaced with OE KYBs. Glad those MIs are still going strong. What's your ODO reading at?
