random question...liked the sound of the Infiniti G35 engine.exhaust...i was wondering whether there is a converstion to have the yaris sounding soft like the g35...is this possible?...or are my dreams cut short?

I'm gonna be the first to vote that isnt possible. That exhaust note is shared by nissans family of motors, In the Z, the G35, the FX - I believe it has more to do with the shared VQ motor rather than the exhaust. Just like putting a factory ferrari muffler on your car wont make it sound like a ferrari.
My Brother has an 03 350z and it had that great tone to it, he went to a single turbo setup, and after the exhaust was coming through the turbo - that noise is almost totally gone - it sounds like a different car. So i dont think an exhaust is going to give you what your looking for.

LOL, never seen that one.
Try going to the Greddy website and there is a vid of their Ti-C exhaust (cat back) on a 350Z -- it's got a pretty nice tone to it, and that's the one I'm getting.

Oh boy... get one of those and an electronic blowoff valve simulator, you'll be the coolest guy on the block, getting all the chicks... :biggrin:

I have the greddy TI-C, it sounds good - but nothing like the one on greddy's website video of the 350z - its just two different cars completely.
