I was stumbling around YouTube and accidentally found a few Supra videos. I never realized that turbos combined with big boost made these things so nasty. Dang, look around and see a few with over 1,000 HP!!!

This one is tame even though it is a 9 second street car.

Had one fly by me on the highway a few weeks ago... wow did it sound/look sweet and haul ASS. It was extremely loud, but a very nice loud, similar to the one in the vid.

They aren't popular around here and I never realized what kind of power the stock mill would put out after being tweaked and blown.

BTW, I was watching your YouTube video and was wondering if the bass action will crack your paint someday. LOL

nah the paint is fine, remember the yaris has nice soft paint.... :barf: . I very rarely roll around with anything that loud, typically just one of the 10's is in, in a different box.

Supras are flat out sexy, and stock internals apparantly handle ridiculous power... I suppose this is why they are still expensive.

man, that is an understatement! I am simply amazed at how robust the bottom end of that motor is. Do they use that block in anything else?

lexus ls300 if my memory serves me.

Would make for an incredible sleeper, although I'm sure its heavier than the supra. If I remember, they can be had much cheaper than a supra, but I don't believe they come turbo stock, and I don't believe the motor is EXACTLY the same.... with that motor though, I'm sure the main thing is just to have a block that will handle that much power and build from there.

Turbo? If so how much boost? How much bottom end (crank & rod) modification was needed?

Skylines will beat supras not to be hating on anyone but i would prefer a skyline over a supra anyday big skyline fan, skylines kick ass all the time only car that i have seen that has beaten a skyline is an RX-7 and thats that the two cars were big time modified and best two japan drivers were racing each other damn skyline almost won lost by a little damn that sucks.

supras stock are real fast too -the turbo ones run in the 13's stock -the only problem is a 96' supra is like $30k -very cool cars though

Yeah lol, supras are cool before this i had an mkiii and an mkiv. you can get a decent 94 supra tt for like 15-18k now. And it all depends on what you're doing, I'd take a supra/skyline over an rx7 for drag anyday.
