...for the sedan, that would be mounted in the trunk on the back of the wheel wells? After examining the trunk, I think this would be an ideal area to mount a sub (or subs- one on each side), as it would only occupy mostly "unusable" storage space anyways...

this is very common, lots of folks do it.

requires some fiberglass, the odor of which will greet you every hot day this summer.

Works nicely though, and does use otherwise useless space.

search for post by me radioactive77 titled "my girlfriends yaris system" i did one 12 that fits perfect on one side and blends perfect.

when makeing any type of enclosure you need to keep in mind subs need air you can find most specs on the manufactures web site just make sure you have proper square inches of space to get the best out of your set up dont take looks and sized over sound quality

yeah it fit perfect. its a solid 1 cubic foot. and sounds amazing.
