I picked up my sedan from the dealer last week and before taking her on a 3 hour drive I check the tire pressure. It gave me a reading of 54psi on all four tires, now I know its 80F outside the does this sound right to you guys with stock bridgestones?

The max pressure on these tires are 44psi... Maybe the dealer wants me to get more gas milage out of her??

that's very high for stock, even though it can improve fuel mileage, if you're not prepared for the sharpened handling and reduced comfort, you should really bring them down a bit, at most to the sidewall recommended pressure...

I already brought them down after I measured them. Thought I was rather strange it came that way from the dealer or maybe it was shipped that way.
