Hi all

I have a Yaris T1 2007 model. Does somebody know why there are to waterpipes going to the throttle Body? Mine broke off and I just bypassed them. Is this something to worry about? Does it affect the Choke? Or is it just for very cold startups?

See red lines on attached image

Please any advice will be apreciated

Its for very cold start ups. I live in Texas and bypassed just to see if it would help with intake temps

actually, the real reason there is coolant running to the throttle body is that: under a certain load, in certain humid areas, at certain times of the year, at certain elevation, at a certain RPM there may be a sight chance of maybe wet enough air in a certain vortex might form ice inside the manifold and on the throttle body, maybe. so we should heat up the throttle body just in case.
