Before anyone asks, no, I didn't swap out my gauges for an SE style with a tacho. I'll do that eventually!
However, I decorated mine. Check it out in the pictures! It was so easy!

Is there any logical reason for the totally unnecessary "F Bomb"?

Am I not allowed to be excited and proud of my work...?

Yes, but excitement surely doesn't entiltle the use of foul language on a public forum does it?
And has to be against the forum rules - "By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws."

Coul you tell about how you removed the assembly from dashboard. I need to clean some blur behind the glass.

Thanks! It took a few hours, I was trying to be super careful. The spray glue I used is pretty heavy duty so once it's applied, it's not coming off haha

I definitely catch myself getting a bit distracted sometimes! I might do this again as soon as I get my hands on an SE style gauge cluster with a tacho.

Here are some pics.
1: pop off the outer trim piece with some sort of pry tool like a flat head screw driver.
2: unscrew the two bottom screws with a phillips head.
3: pop out the top portion gently. It's held in the some clips.
4: fish out the entire piece from between the dash and steering wheel.
5: the clear plastic piece is clipped in with 6 clips. The clips are clear plastic.
6: you can separate the main body portion too, just pop out out the bigger black plastic tabs.
7: when you disconnect the harness, you'll have to reset the clock. No big deal. However, I recommend keeping all gauge needles at bottom resting position when you reassemble it because I suspect them being offset if you reassemble it with the needles off resting position.

Thanks for your effort. It is more complicated than I thought. I do not know if I can dare.

It's way easier than you might think. I can get it disassembled to its individual parts in like 10 minutes without being very careful, honestly. It's made of plastic but it's pretty tough plastic. I'm not beating on it but I'm also not babying it. It's pretty easy!

Also, I believe toyota sells just the clear plastic piece by itself. I think it has its own part number

Let me ask first Toyota service station.
I was searching in all Toyota forums but could not find any info about dismantling this type of cluster. Thanks again...
