Crashed my 08 Yaris today and the engine was running still. After I turned it off it won't start and the gearshift will not come out of park. Also no power to the cigarette lighter socket and no display for mileage etc. Key fob will not lock or unlock the car. Was a front end collision. Other than the broken plastic bumper and the coolant leak there is nothing wrong with it. It's on the side of the highway and I want to move it without towing. Is this an immobilizer issue or something More. The airbags did not deploy.

Sounds like you where in a front end collision and the battery or the connections may have been damaged. I'd check if the battery hasn't been cracked in the collision, or the terminals damaged or knocked off in the impact. I'd also check the 60A and 120A fusible links in the fusible link block located right by the battery positive terminal.

Well that's the strange thing. Get beeping with the door open and key in. And a battery and oil indication lights in the acc position. Battery is fine. Has to be something with the airbag system or immobilizer. Car was running fine and gearshift worked.
