Roof rack cargo carrier

Greetings! I'm a newbie here and wanted to ask if anyone had recommendations on a reasonable roof cargo carrier for a Yaris (or if it is ill advised) and what car rack they had to install it on. Also, has anyone tried one of those roof tents for camping? It's that time of year. Really love my Yaris and happy there's a forum of others who love theirs so I can learn more.

Welcome! I'd be interested in seeing some pics as well. I've started using the yaris for road trips more often and a rack would be nice. What Year/Body do you have?

Search 'roof rack' people. There are dozens of threads discussing/picturing various roof rack options. Everything from OE and aftermarket clamp on setups to permanent mount installs. Fortunately OP has a 5 door so he/she doesn't have to deal with the less than ideal short rack configuration.

To Wee's point, if you search for camper, you'll find a few posts where people have done some really cool conversions. I think some of the pics are missing because of the recent photobucket changes, but a lot of it is still there.
