Very interesting article. Surely this will get many audiophiles in a flap about how it might affect quality sound reproduction.

They say when music went digital and away from things like CDs the perpetrators were able to dilute sound quality because the public was so addicted to tech they didn’t notice it. Suckers!
Hey would you want to listen to real music? Come over to my house and I’ll crank up my Dual 15 inch woofer speakers for you. :headbang:

Years ago a buddy of mine had gotten his hands on a product from China. Tiny little thing about the size of a bottle cap. Plugged it into an MP3 player and any object the 'bottle cap' was placed on became a speaker. Blew me away at what a patio table could become. Certainly not hi-fidelity, but damn amazing. As with all budding tech, it will be interesting to see what evolution brings.

Cool stuff that's been coming along for a little while now. There are headphones that you don't place over your ears, but on different parts of your head instead and the sound goes through your bones lol. I guess it could get to the point where the sound quality is the same but we're not there yet.
