So I had an idea a bit ago.
Rally Yaris.
So I took out the rear seats. And the door panels. And pretty much the entire interior. Only thing left is the front dash and the driver and passengers seat. I also cut off the exhaust and welded on my own side exit exhaust.
Yes I am aware what I have done is stupid. No I do not care. The Yaris is no longer my DD, so I've retired it to a fuck-a-round. I am gonna do whatever I feel like with it, while my new DD is going to be properly built and tuned.

The biggest part of rally'ing in general lies not with the engine but in the suspension and body.
The best thing you can do is get yourself a cage if not a 4 pot roll bar, then stiffen up the chassis and invest in some good quality off road based shocks and some hydraulic bump stops and limiter belts.
a good 15 inch rim to take the beating and gravel tires.
You wont need power mods for a while at that level of rally racing/rally-x but itll make the car really good. id still keep the rear sway bar for more control over the rear and oversteer on braking dive but thats how id drive.
I've also thought on long about turning my STS yaris into a rally spec car but... eh

Thank you for the links I will definitely check those out.
So the plan for my cars are, Yaris is a rally car, then my civic si will be my tuner car, and the Honda Accord I am looking at will be a memorial car.
The Yaris will be so much fun at the rally’s.
