Hi,

I own a manual 2003 Yrais (SCP12, 1.3 2SZ-FE engine).
I had all my 4 brakes replaced + regular servicing, and immediately following that the following problem started:
1. ABS yellow light lights up
2. Red circle with exclamation mark lights up
3. Speed stays at 0 Km/h
4. Odometer doesn't advance
5. ABS stops working, but otherwise drive feels 100% normal.

It started right after the service, so a good chance they messed something with some wiring... When the car is started it's sometimes OK, but after a few minutes of driving it returns.
After driving like that for a while, the yellow "check engine" light also lit up, OBD reads P0500.

Do I get it correctly - the car has 2 ABS sensors AND a separate speed sensor? Does the P0500 code indicate it's the speed sensor and not the ABS sensors?
The shop takes responsibility for now, but they haven't been able to fix it until now and I want to make sure they're in the right direction..

Thanks :)

Yes, they ended up solving this by replacing the ABS computer / controller (don't remember the exact name). If I recall correctly it's an electronic controller module together with the ABS pump.
They replaced it with a used one (which was still quite expensive) and it solved the problem.
