wondering how light you can get these cars
please share how much you've stripped and the weight of your car now :thumbup:

Tom from Armstrong Racing will chime in I'm sure but last I checked he was down to 2100lbs with a stripped interior, wire harnesses that are not needed and replaced some of his glass w/ lexan

carbon roof. aftermarket rotors. removing the back seat. lighter wheels. removing the passenger seat. aftermarket suspension. lexan windows. carbon fiber hood. aftermarket brake calipers. removing the AC if you don't need it.

My racecar is high 1800s fully stripped.

I'm at 1951 now with a SEDAN, but I could go lower for sure. I sill have all of the door beams and all hinges/latches, and sound deadening. I have the glass rear window still too.

I'm at 2044lbs with a Full interior minus the back seats and about 1/3 of a tank. I can easily get it to 1999 and keep most of the comfortable stuff in..........amazing!

A lot of people could also stand to lose at least 30-60 lbs. :biggrin:

That must be a dry weight?? and the 5 door has to weigh a bit more than the 3dr no?
