Heres a little off topic but close...its a Toyota..
1999 Sienna van auto V6 65,000 miles
It was sitiing under the carport for 8 months so I started it up today.
ALL of the power steering fluid had leaked out. Anyone have any experience with this model..?? Is this a common issue with these..?? Where do you think the leak is..??
These mini vans SUCK for getting to any component. Everything crammed into the bay.
I cant even see the PS pump...
How much Dextron III will fill this up again??? Can I just pour it in the reservoir??
Any bubbles will come to the top eventually,no???any tips on this....?
another thing....the oil dipstick doesnt really show any consistent level of oil...
if you put the stick in 5 times it will show several different levels, sometimes just coating the side of the stick...maybe its a non original dipstick....but its a yellow top....
anyone try a different stick in these v6 engines that shows the oil good even if its non stock??
thanks for your time...

If there’s a massive spill under the car in within minutes of refilling, it’s likely the PS pump (had this happen to the car I had before the Yaris). Ducts and hoses should be still fine.

does it really matter how you refill it..like does it have to be jacked up and all that or can you just dump it in and then start the motor and let it pressurize itself...?
