Hi, all. I’m a Prius c owner. [emoji41] I’m selling my exhaust. It’s a Tanabe Medallion axle-back exhaust. It’s actually made for the Yaris, but it fits on the Prius c. I have it posted on PriusChat but have yet to have any bites. (Most Prius owners aren’t looking for an exhaust. 🤣)
This exhaust looks and sounds really nice. I am only selling it because it won’t fit with my TRD sway bar, and I’d rather install the sway bar and look for a different exhaust.
These go for around $350 new online. I’m looking for $265 shipped. I’m local to NJ and PA and willing to meet up and will obviously drop the price for pickup.

How does this interfere with a TRD sway bar? On Gen2 and Gen3 Yaris, the sway bar comes nowhere close to the Medalion. What's different?

how much is shipping from your place to San diego? 92123. I feel 265 is kinda pricey but knowing shipping across country....

looking at documents and the undercarriage of a prius c, it's very similar to a gen 2 yaris. hell, it uses a gen2 yaris/Scion XD rear axle beam. how is it hitting?

I’m honestly not sure, guys. I had a shop swapping my seats for FRS seats and asked them to throw the sway bar on while the car was there. The shop told me that it wouldn’t fit with the exhaust, and I just assumed that they were correct... Hmm.

I’m not sure. I purchased an HKS Carbon-Ti yearsssss ago (when I had an IS300) from Cali, and I think it was close to $80 for shipping.

they must have installed it facing the wrong way, or upside down.
the sway bar fits right under and follows the axle beam's shape, as if the axle beam was designed to accommodate the rear sway bar.

I agree, both should fit.
Cali yaris had both on his C, no?

He definitely had the Medalion. If he did have a RSB, it was probably either Whiteline or UltraRacing since those are what he pedaled.
TRD tucks up into the axle beam. Whiteline sits slightly below it. UR sits somewhere between the other two I believe. Either way, no sway bar interferes with any brand of exhaust.

Great to know, guys... I’ll have my brother look up under the car this weekend and see what those fools were talking about!

As enviri mentioned, I suspect shop was thinking the bar was to be installed backwards.
