Greetings everyone,
I知 looking for your input about how to build a custom turbo kit with an external waste gate.
I致e been doing some research lately and I知 still learning. I want to emulate something like this;

I知 thinking of using a 13g turbo from a Subaru, 38mm wastegate, with this manifold;

If I知 understanding this right, I need to change the oem turbo housing for something similar to this;

And then find the right adapters/piping for the wastegate/downpipe?
My question is how would you guys make a similar wastegate/downpipe setup as this;59643

Ok so I figured I can either change the housing or keep the flap open and just couple with a 5 bolt to v-band adapter... Which way is better? I知 thinking changing the housing will save a bit of space.
I want to build a reliable DD pushing 8psi, and I really want the external wastegate setup.
