Trailer Hitch for 2004 Echo Hatch (Canadian)

Hello Yaris World! I have a 2004 Echo Hatch that I would love to slap a hitch onto so that I can use my various hitch accessories I own for my other vehicles. I've seen Echo Hatches on the road with hitches before but can't seem to find anything that fits mine. Most websites say it excludes Canadian Hatchback models? Anyone know why this is and if there just needs to be minor modifications to make this work?

I know the answer is out there somewhere but I just can't seem to find it!
