Our daughter has a new 2018 Yaris sedan and would like stronger sound from the muffler. I've had excellent experience with a Dynomax VT in a WRX, nice growl and zero drone.
I saw here that the Tanabe Medallion Touring is recommended, although I didn't see a 2018 specific model. Are there other options for 2018 models?

Be conscious of the fact you have a sedan. The Tanabe Medalion Touring is only available for the hatchback. Sedan and hatch exhausts are not interchangeable.

Hmmm...that's unfortunate. So, which are the sedan recommendations?

I was reading about Synapse Engineering's No Drone Resonators, which is a simple piece of capped exhaust pipe welded paralel to your pipe. They have different lengths for different rpms (where most drone happens); location should be considered too.
Anyone tried that with custom setups?

As general info, unfortunately, Dynomax discontinued the VT series, because of drop in demand. I think that was a truly no drone performance muffler for a good price, but there are models still available on some stores; search online.

Regarding sound, if OEM resonator is removed, does sound becomes better?

Answered in other thread where you asked this question.
