Getting error P0441. Was told by Autozone I need to replace the Canister Purge Valve. While inspecting the CPV I noticed one of the hose ends were deteriorating. I tried wrapping the end with electrical tape but the error code didn't go away. I had this same error code last year and it went away after replacing the gas cap. But error is back up again. Any recommendations?

Should I try to replace the gas cap and put a new hose on? Last resort I guess I'll replace the CPV ($70) - it looks pretty simple to install.

Also, where can I find this hose? (pics)

Can I test the CPV using this method? Clipping a 9 Volt battery to the CPV?? There's a video of an 02' Camry testing. Does mine operate different since its an '07 Yaris vs an 02' Camry? Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Gd7BbB0N3U

I might have wasted money buying the part but can always return it.. Need to first..
