I want to go lower and from what I have read Tein S are supposed to be 1.9''

As you can see here the same model spring is shown with different drop in inches.

1.5'' https://www.tdotperformance.ca/tein-skc10-aub00-s-tech-spring-kit.html

This site shows header as 1.9 but reading description it says 1.5''.

https://www.carid.com/tein/spring-mpn-skc10-aub00.html?singleid=826746761&url=5967302

So what is it...1.5'' or 1.9''??

I am on 1.5 know and 1.9 would be perfect. If the drop is only 1.5 then I will have no choice but to go coilover.

Thanks for all the assistance as usual.

I'm running the Tein S. Tech springs and if memory serves, the front and rear have slightly different numbers (I assume due to weight difference from front to rear). It's supposed to be 1.9" overall drop and most of us have seen that, give or take. Right around 2".

1.9 or a full 2'' is perfect.

The problem with most springs is that they are same front back. The yaris need more drop in the front.I ordered them up and will install this weekend.

Currently using cheap manzo 1.5 springs.Should be a good upgrade not only in quality of product but also drop height.

Let us know how it goes. All the pics in my garage are of my car on the Tein's. I was pretty pleased with the stance, I don't feel I have rake in any one direction or another.

I do remember a guy posting on the forum years ago about using a combination of Tein's and Tanabe's. He and others that commented seemed to like the stance better, but it didn't seem to make a significant difference to me, judging by his pics.

Ah, yes, I remember seeing pics of your car in another post. If I remember correctly, Wee commented about the amount of wheel poke you have and the possibility of rubbing. If you're not already rubbing on big freeway humps, I'd be willing to bet my bottom dollar you will be after installing the Tein's. The offset on my RPF1's don't appear to be as aggressive as your wheels and I get rub on the really heavy freeway humps.

Just something to think about...

You're probably going to have to depending on how/where you drive.

Great looking car overall. The sunroof wasn't factory, was it?

The sunroof is a webasto and pro installed.600.00CAD all in.

currently running 40 or 42 offset 205/50R16.Rear fenders are shaved and only rub slightly over highway dips.30mm spacers rear and 10mm up front.

Once on the teins, depending how the fitment is I may remove the rear 30 and replace with the 10.

Too bad its not worth/cant run a stretched tire.7inch rims are not wide enough.

How do you like Manzo springs? I'm interested if you're changing your setup

They ride fine.Going with teins because lower drop.If you want them I will sell for $50.00.I see you are in Toronto so we can meet in Barrie.Only a year old and no rust on them.

Well I got them on but not near what I want.Same exact same as the manzos.

Going to get tein coilovers.Bottom line is manzos offer the same drop at nearly half the price.
