Hey guys got a leak in the transmission base pan gasket, how big of a job is this to do? Is it simple as draining the fluid, take out the bolts and drop the pan or is there more to it?

If you are talking about the automatic trans, yes very easy. I would replace the filter as well while you have it open.
Youtube has some decent tutorials.

Yes, it is that simple. It was last year that I dropped the pan on my '08 and I added a little RTV sealant to both sides of the gasket before tightening. I also replaced the filter while in there. Go very light on the pan bolt torque. It's something like 70 - 80 in/lbs (~7 ft/lbs).
Here are some pics from during my pan drop...

Thanks guys! Figured it was pretty straight forward but had to ask to make sure as you never know sometimes. Will get at it in the next couple weeks as it's a very slow leak

Excellent. It's always a great feeling to have a fresh filter and new, clean ATF coursing through your transmission and your car will appreciate it.
Have you posted any pics of your car?

I have some pictures yup! The yaris is treating me well. 296000km and going strong! Just took it on a 2500km road trip last week and the car loved it.
