I've been wearing a portable EKG type moniter and I cant get the stupid adhesive off myself! I've tried body soap, hand soap, pumice mechanic soap, scraping it off, nothing works, scraping just spreads it! Ideas? :frown:

yeah, this stuff usually takes a while to wear away, probably about 7-10 days and it will be gone, just ignore it

The alcohol med-wipes (AKA running alcohol and toilet paper) ate right through the stuff, now I know for next time. Good to know somebody has lots of experience with this lol ;P
Plus with todays heat having alcohol on me cooled me down for a while :)

Don't worry about it too much. Your entire skin layer is replaced in about 30 days. It'll probably come off a lot sooner than that though with regular washing. I wouldn't consider putting all of these chemicals on your skin. Just try it the natural way.
BTW, spent some time at Cold Lake when I was in the AF. Good times...

I was there in early '02. I think it was sometime around may because I was surprised that the lake was still frozen over.

Yeah, theres typically still ice on the shore in some spots until some time in late April/ early May. starting in may the snow "typically" stops (I've seen snow till august) and cold starts around september for another long, long cold, cold winter :( I've never seen tires get flat spots from freezing, or brick hard seats till I moved here. Cold enough that I've had vehicles not move after letting go of the brake because the diff oil was too cold!

I'm sorry but it's entirely too cold there from me. When I had gone there, I was coming from AZ. HUGE difference in temperature. It wasn't all that warm in Arizona when we left but we went from 70ish temps to below 0. They were calling me Kenny there because I was always wearing my cold weather parka with the hood up and closed. I could barely see out of the thing but at least I was semi-warm.
