Hi, I need help driving an instrument cluster with an arduino unit. It's from a Toyota Avensis (2004 mod.) RHD.
It has 2 connector plugs, white with 22 pins and a blue one with 18 pins.
Here's what I know so far (made a post on another toyota forum, but maybe someone here would know). Here's the Thread (https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/184599-2007-rhd-instrument-cluster/).
My question is, what kind of signal should I feed it in order to show RPM and speed? I've found the pins from the diagram, but doesn't mention at all. I think it should be pulse signal, so maybe I should connect it to a PWM hole on the arduino.
What I'm trying to do has been done to a BMW cluster (model without canbus), my cluster does not have canbus either.
I'm trying to hook it up to my sim rig.
Please, if you can help...
Thanks!
