Hey guys posted a while ago about having a transmission leak which i thought was from the pan gasket but upon further inspection its from one of the trans. lines going to the radiator. Is this an expensive/hard fix? It's not the rubber hoses but from the steel lines.

Pictures?

AFAIK, transmission oil is not cooled in the Yaris? I might be wrong..

Are you sure it's transmission oil?

Oil might be dripping to the AC line?

You can buy a new hard line but chances are the small 10mm bolts holding it on are rusted and will shear off.

This happened in my '05 Vibe. I purchased some rubber oil lines and just used those to run to the trans cooler in place of the hard lines. I then used the figure 8 zip tie method to keep the lines from rubbing together or rubbing anything else. Has so far worked well for the past 25,000km

Oh its definitely transmission fluid! Theres 2 lines that go to the radiator from the transmission. And I've been slowly having to top it up every couple weeks or so depending on how much driving I do. It's hard to get a good look at it for a picture. I'm hoping it's an easy fix.
