At my core, I'm a 90's golden era hip-hop head, but I listen to a pretty wide variety of stuff. These days, I'm finding myself listening to hip-hop, funk, reggae and salsa.

Been listening to a lot of ambient stuff lately. Nothing specific, I'll just go on youtube and find playlists. It helps to relax, especially when walking at lunch...kind of decompressing when you're staring at huge monitors all day.

Have you heard the "Dreams of Freedom: Ambient Translations of Bob Marley in Dub" album? It's an ambient/dub remix of some Bob Marley tracks. Highly recommend.

Nice! I love the intermittent black metal influence.

I used to play in a few death metal bands, one of which was very "blackened death metal" for a period of time. Haven't been playing much lately but hoping to start jamming again soon.

Yeah it's a fun and intense style to play. I play guitar myself.
