Hi,
We are brand new to Yaris World so hello everyone. We have a problem with our 09 Yaris as the rear wiper motor is dead.
Looking through the manual and on line we see that fuse number 28 in the fuse box behind/under the glove box controls the rear wiper/washer.
The washer works but the motor doesn't.
The slot for fuse 28 was empty so I put a spare 15amp fuse in. Still no motor.
If the washer works - surely the motor should work? Does this suggest the motor has died?
If so - can someone tell me how the heck I get the plastic panelling off of the rear (hatch) door so I can get at the motor to check there is power to it and eventually (if necessary) change it?
Thanks in Advance
Cheers
Larry

The washer motor is in the tank in the engine bay, so that has nothing to do with the wiper motor and wiring in the rear door.
Its only a hose that runs from the the tank to the nozzle in the rear.
I would start with the wires that is in the rubber hose next to the hinges on the rear door, it could be broken.
