my car about 85,000 miles. got some sound at the back...seems to be the passenger side rear wheel bearing.
just want to have idea how much a OEM Toyota wheel bearing and corresponding average labor cost?
just to have idea before I have it repair/service

I'm pretty sure the oem bearing is around $300-400 since it is the whole hub assembly as it does not come with just the bearing like the fronts do. I'm not sure how much book time the job would be but I'd say around 2-4 hours it probably would state

thank you.

just looking at video at youtube, just wonder how can they fix the rear wheel bearing so quick . doing it almost less than an hour

so I might decide to bring my car to toyota dealer, I know it will be quite expensive, but hopefully they will be more trustworthy than other repair shop...I hope.

the hub is held in with 4 bolts. it is one of the easiest wheel bearings ever, in the entire world of history to replace, as far as wheel bearings go, in my experience.

^until its gets seized due to salt. Then it can become a big job and take an extra couple hours. Air hammers make a big difference for that.

Any independant shop that is trustworthy will be able to do it no problem, I don't see a reason to need to take it to the dealership to have it done

An interesting discussion about changing bearings, but the question is, is the bearing suppliers (https://www.slsbearindo.com/products/bearings-housings-pillow-blocks) at each dealer different from one another?
