Love James and all of his pedantic humor! Someone went to a lot of trouble to build that silly box. =)

This is awesome! Haha, I love all the Top Gear / Grand Tour guys.
I know Lambo's come in boxes like that...any chance that's how the GRMN arrives at dealerships? It's not like it's mass produced...

all of the Lamborghini that get delivered here come in those big enclosed transport trucks. maybe when they come into port they come in wooden crates(?)
there was only like 400 units produced. i bet they were delivered them by transport to the front door of the persons that ordered them.

Yeah, I think so. I've seen a few YouTube vids of Centenario unboxing and it's in a wooden crate.

I'm guessing not. There's no way to secure the car to the box, no way to get forks under it, too much air gap around the sides for it to be held in place, tire marks on the bottom cardboard, etc. etc. etc. If you look closely at the "zipper" when he's standing close to it, you can see pencil marks/layout lines for the perforations and the lines are hand cut.
Here's a company that crates up things (http://www.newportpackandcrate.com/auto-car-motorcycle-crating-shipping.html). No cardboard, lots of dimensional lumber and tie-down straps.
That said, it's a funny gag. =)

I showed the beginning of this vid to my wife (was lucky to get her to stick around for more than a few seconds), and suggested that she have mine wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper. And, a really big bow, of course.
