You can go the FI route if you are looking for power. Auto tranny isn't going to be able to handle too much power unless you plan to swap to manual with LSD.

auto trans was the U3 series the Rav4 uses a similar one with a 4WD electronically engaged LSD to move power to all four wheels and that is about 175hp at 6500 redline and 175 or something at 4800

ik now you can FI it to like 200 so im sure the yaris trans could handle another 100 hp and 100 ft lb well enough to be at its limit.
