Front Parking Sensors

My Yaris Icon Tech Hybrid 2018 has an annoying problem.
When you are in close traffic the front sensors keep going mental, and as I am a driving instructor, I spend a lot of time in traffic.

There is a button / light that shows the OFF P>>> symbol, but it doesn't seem to do anything. It sits to the left of the temperature / demister control. I can't find any way, in the manual, to turn off the sensors.... The local dealer seems to think it is a button but nothing works.

It is driving me insane.

lmao you got some shoddy aftermarket parking sensors that were half assed by a dealer looking to make money only.

the yaris dosent need parking sensors its such a tiny car that your probbaly not even sitting right.

Have you tried a prolonged depress of the button? Not just a quick push.
