Sticky clutch pedal

Hello,
Started yesterday, the clutch pedal is sticking down there, really annoying.
When I push down and release, it comes back half an inch and stop, then I have to remove pressure and it goes up suddenly.
Do you think it's the clutch master cylinder? already bad after 50000 miles.

if your really hard on a car thats not designed for performance im not suprised probably. just swap it out.

I'd at least bleed the clutch first. (Read threads here on this.) For me and others here it brought up a too-low engagement point a bit...and we got some grit in the bleed fluid. I like to run the right front wheel up on a ramp first to put any bubble closer to the bleeder. (Low ramp...lots of ramps are too steep for the Yaris bumper. This vehicle tilting is not in the shop manual, and I've never seen anyone mention it anywhere.)
