Toyota Vitz beep?

Hi, I have been noticing that when I switch off my Toyota Vitz (start/push button), sometimes it beeps.
I make sure that my light is turned off and my door is still closed, but it does not always beep.

Now I was driving and it started beeping, than it was beeping faster and finally stopped.

No symbols where showing on the dashboard.

What can this be please?

How long have you had the car? Just by reading your post I figured it might be your seatbelt?

did you check your seat belt you should always strap in before you start your car and have your foot on the brake

You are definitely hearing the seatbelt warning. If not caused by leaving the driver's belt either unbuckled or not properly clasped, are you perhaps sometimes putting an object on the passenger seat heavy enough to trigger the occupant sensor?
