Yaris High Beam Issue Only one headlight is working

Hi All

Just experinced s strange thing.

Normal headlight on then tried to put on high beam then only one of the headlight is working.

Under normal conditions both headlight works.

Left low beam req replacement will do in next couple of week.

But I wasnt expecting only one headlight working in high beam

Any ideas

High beam filament is burnt out.

The lightbulb itself is dual filament. One filament for low and one for high beam. You need to replace the bulb.

Hi

I have looked again

I am confused it seems the headlights are both working but one is not in high beam.

This bulb is H4

The other issue is parking light which is seperate bulb. W5W 12V wedge base type.

Just to clarify

1 both work in normal headlight.

2 dipped position only one working

3 when on high beam one headlight is not working

Swap your bulbs from side to side. If bulb is faulty, what you are experiencing will change sides.

That teardrop light is not parking light. If it is, then someone has messed up with your wiring

Thats strange we use term parking lights for these low beam front headlights here in uk.

That tear drop that uses a wedge type bulb is not your low beam/parking light. They are supposed to be your blinkers.

The H4 bulbs are supposed to do both your normal driving light (low beam) and high beam.
